LinkedIn has launched the Follow Company button, giving millions of online users the ability to follow the companies they’re interested in.

Sound familiar?  It should.

It’s the LinkedIn version of the Facebook Like button or the Twitter Follow button.

The new Follow Company features arrives just a few months after the launch of LinkedIn Company Status Updates and almost two years after the début of LinkedIn’s Company Follow Feature.

Confused?  Let’s recap how each feature benefits your small business:

LinkedIn Company Follow Feature: LinkedIn members can subscribe to notifications about new job opportunities, employee hires, departures or promotions and profile changes.

LinkedIn Company Status Updates: Companies can post multimedia (photos, videos), company news, product releases, promotions and industry articles.

LinkedIn Follow Company Button: Anyone on the web can now follow your company anywhere you choose to embed the Follow Company button. Whether the button is on your company website or company blog, your customers, fans, employees and any of the other 150 million LinkedIn members can keep track of everything related to your company news,

Have you created a LinkedIn company page yet?

There are only 2 million companies now listed on LinkedIn (out of 27 million firms in the U.S. alone!), many of which are large companies such as AT&T, Starbucks, Sony Electronics and American Express OPEN.

There is no better time to launch your LinkedIn company page and reach over 150 million business professionals on LinkedIn.
